Today we had over 50 volunteers working in the garden. This was because we had a group of 23 coming from the American University of Paris who are doing various activities in Auroville. Not surprisingly we got a huge amount of work done.
- We picked lettuce, roccolla, brinjal and ladies finger.
- We cleared composted and planted two beds in the seed garden which we then planted lettuces. I am hoping we can get seeds from these plants during this cool season.
- We cleared composted and mulched a bed in Le Jardin that we planted with bassella spinach.
- We cleared, composted and mulched another bed in Le Jardin which we then planted with beans.
- We cut glyricidea which we then used for mulching the guava trees in the guava patch.
- We weeded a bed in Le Jardin.
