Wednesday March 1st misty and cool first thing in the morning but hot once the sun came through.

With 22 people we:

1. We picked ladies finger, roccolla, brinjal, bassella spinach tomatoes (lots) and dug up a huge amount of sweet potato. Unfortunately as the soil is not very good on the new land where they were grown they were quite badly affected by bugs.
2. We weeded in the seed garden
3. We worked in New Horizon digging out the sweet potato. On one bed we then raked the soil level, mulched with leaves and planted pumpkins.  We will plant bassella spinach and more pumpkin on these beds.
