November 1st very wet underfoot but no rain during work time

With 11 volunteers and 12 students and teachers:

  1. We picked some papaya
  2. We planted fruit trees in the New Horizons fruit orchard. Since the grass has also been cut and the weeds cleared out it is looking very good.  Rain is expected which will be really good for the newly planted trees.
  3. We cleared a bed in the Pryog garden.
  4. We cleared up palmyra leaves around Buddha Garden which have a tendency to fall down when it rains heavily.
  5. In the nursery with the students we replanted a lot of chili plants.
