Today is the first day of a strict lockdown when even the food shops have got to close. There will be some limited deliveries and pick ups allowed but at this point we don’t know how much food Foodlink will be able to distribute. Given the high temperatures expected this next week we have decided that we will come in early to do whatever is necessary and keep things ticking over until the lockdown is relaxed – hopefully next week. Priya is going to use the opportunity to do more work in our educational project ‘the garden of unseen helpers’ which celebrates the insects and microbes that are part of the food growing process.
