Wednesday October 5th warm and sunny

We had another student group of 28 people this morning together with 15 other volunteers.

  1. We picked ladies finger, bassella spinach, snake gourd, lukki, the first roccolla of the season and a few beans.
  2. We divided the student group into two and they spent time clearing a bed in the Souryan garden, cutting and stripping glyricidea leaves that they then put around some cashew trees.
  3. We planted pumpkin in New Horizon.
  4. We finished digging all the holes in New Horizon and now just have to wait for the papaya trees to grow in the nursery.
