Wednesday March 29th hot and sunny and getting hotter.

With 16 people:

  1. We picked chicken spinach, brinjal, lukki (a few), kumquat and beans
  2. We made a huge amount of compost using up almost all the 5 loads of leaves that we have recently had delivered.
  3. We weeded and mulched a bed in the Seed Garden.
  4. We weeded some beds in the Souryan garden.
  5. We sorted out some amaranth seeds, one of the volunteers using a very good blowing technique to separate the very light chaff from the extremely small seeds.
