Wednesday February 24th sunny and cool; very pleasant

With 10 people:

  1. We picked roccolla, lettuce, radish, cucumber, micro greens and sprouts.
  2. We continued to harvest sweet potatoes in the NewHorizon orchard.
  3. We put a special mulch of luceana on one of the papaya beds after we had composted the plants which are just starting to grow pineapples. This is part of some research a volunteer is doing on the best way of mulching pineapple beds to keep down the weeds.
  4. We did some weeding
