Saturday July 4th damp and cool and rather overcast

  1. We picked bassella spinach, basil, micro greens and sprouts.
  2. We planted out turmeric plants and jicama seeds in the Seed Garden. Both are an experiment; the jicama to see if they will start growing at this time of the year and turmeric to see whether we can grow a whole bed of it rather than just a few odd plants which is what we normally do.
  3. We worked in the nursery putting soil out in trays.
