Monday February 27th sunny and warm and feeling more humid

With 22 people:

  1. We picked lettuce, roccolla, tomatoes, brinjal, ladies finger and papaya.
  2. In the Pryog garden we cleared, composted and mulched a bed so that it will be ready to plant tomorrow with maize.
  3. We dug up the first of our sweet potato in New Horizon. They are huge but unfortunately a lot of them have bugs.  The plants obviously struggled with the poor soil.
  4. We cleared a bed in Le Jardin – its already half planted with bassella spinach so we will compost and mulch the bed tomorrow and plant it with more bassella spinach.
