Monday April 8th overcast at first but hot and sunny later

With 10 people:

  1. We picked papaya, bassella spinach, brinjal, beans, tomatoes, micro greens and sprouts.
  2. We checked drippers on beds in three different gardens. This is an important job these days when the weather is so hot.  We need to ensure that the irrigation system is working properly so that everything that needs water is getting it.
  3. We worked on the sweet potato seedlings. We dug up plants that had survived in the cashew orchard and then replanted them on one bed in the Seed garden.  They need a reasonable amount of water to get going but once they start growing they will grow through the hot season ready to be cuttings when we plant them in September.
