Monday April 23rd very hot

With 8 people:

  1. We picked bassella spinach, huge quantities of beans, (mostly from the research beds) tomatoes (that just seem to keep going and going), chillies and micro greens.
  2. We cleared a bed in the Souryan garden ready for composting and planting that has to be completed in the next week or so before it gets really hot.
  3. We did a lot of weeding, (or meditation 101 as Giri calls it) in various parts of the garden.
  4. A team came in to cut down several of our teak trees which are now large enough to be sold for wood. I’m particularly glad about one tree that I think was getting unsteady and could easily have ruined the chicken house.
