Friday January 19th sunny and cool

With 18 people:

1. We picked roccolla, lettuce and papaya. We pick micro greens and are now picking close to 1kg each day.
2. We cleared up the fence in the Seed garden which involved taking down a drumstick tree that was making too much shade and digging up a lot of small lucaena trees that were growing next to the fence.
3. After composting and mulching the temporary beds in the Cashew orchard we planted various sorts of tomatoes, basil and papaya trees.
4. We cleared up in and around the nursery which involved moving a lot of wooden pallets we are no longer using. For the Farm Tour we also set out in pots examples of what we are growing in the nursery.
