With 9 people We picked bassella spinach, beans, cucumber and pineappples. We also picked cashews which we think will now be ready sooner. The rain helps the fruit to develop more quickly and thus the nut to ripen. We cleared, composted and mulched a bed in Le Jardin which we then planted with basil seedlings.
Its election day so everything is closed down and there is no working in Buddha Garden. We had our first rain last night. Just a short shower that was swallowed up by the very dry soil. Plants will still need irrigating but a little less than usual.
