29th June – cloudy day with cool weather

  1. We began the day’s work by weeding. We weeded a bed in the Souryan garden where we are growing beans. We also weeded half a bed of maize in the same plot
  2. In the later part of the morning we began to make some compost. Everybody came together with shovels and baskets to pile thick layers of brown leaves in the compost pen. Tomorrow we have to pile another layer before we let them compost.
