Tuesday July 9th sunny and hot

With 7 people: We picked bassella spinach, basil and micro greens We composted, mulched and then planted a bed in the Souryan garden with bean seedlings. We planted seeds in the nursery beside all the small seedlings that are coming on to be planted out when it rains.  

Monday July 8th sunny and very humid

With 8 people: We picked papaya, basil, micro greens and sprouts. We cut the seed off the basil. This stops the leaves growing small. We started clearing up for a display garden in front of the cottage. We are calling it the ‘garden of unseen helpers’ and it will be all about insects and micro-organisms.
