With 12 people We picked lukki (bottle gourd) and cucumbers. There was such a lot of lukki we ended up giving some of it away. We cut down the glyricidea along the side of Le Jardin fruit patch which we worked on yesterday. We then used the leaves to mulch all the fruit trees in
With 8 people We spent the whole of the work time mulching trees in Le Jardin orchard. We cut glyricidea and stripped the leaves off which we put around each tree and then covered with brown leaves. It was like making a little compost heap around each tree. We also replanted papaya and one Ram
With 8 people We picked lukki, pineapples, cucumbers and chikkoo We planted beans on the end of the bassella bed in the Souryan garden that we weeded yesterday. We weeded and re-mulched a maize bed in the Souryan garden.
